Welcome to 6th Grade!
Team 6M!
Happy 2020!
The second half of the year is going to bring a lot of learning and fun!
We will be starting our second unit in Science, "How Does Water Shape the Earth?" We loved our first science mystery and the kids really improved in their investigative skills.
We are continuing in Unit 2 for StudySync and will begin a novel unit at the end of January.
In Social Studies we are continuing to study world religions and will move into Ancient India and China.
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be in January but please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns prior to the conferences.
I hope the New Year brings health, fun, and warmth to your families!

Our class read aloud is:
Freak the Mighty by Rodrick Philbin.
This is a classic middle-grade novel about a truly unlikely friendship that changes the course of the lives of two families.
